Retirement of table tennis legend Timo Boll: “I call him: The Odenwald Fighting Pig”

Timo Boll , 44, will play the final match of his career, which began 30 years ago, on Sunday in the Bundesliga final between his club Borussia Düsseldorf and TTF Ochsenhausen in Frankfurt. A win would give Boll his 15th championship title with Düsseldorf. He says: "Giving up table tennis completely now is even more emotionally intense than when I retired from the national team at the Olympics in Paris." Last summer, Boll's good friend Dirk Nowitzki came to Paris especially for the occasion. He has also announced his attendance for Sunday.
